Courier delivery in Poland has been growing year by year: restaurants, pharmacies and online marketplaces generate thousands of orders every day in big cities and suburbs. For foreigners this is a convenient way to start working quickly, combine shifts with studies or another job, and gradually increase income by moving to rider “peak” hours. To make the start safe and stable, it is important to collect the correct documents, properly set up your app profiles and understand how payouts and bonus campaigns work. Below is a practical guide that will help you move from first registration to predictable earnings without mistakes.

Requirements and documents to start as a courier

To begin, you only need a small but mandatory set:

  • Passport and legal grounds for stay and work: visa, residence card or temporary protection.
  • PESEL.
  • Polish phone number and e-mail, a bank account in PLN for payouts.
  • Smartphone with stable internet, navigation and access to work apps.
  • Vehicle of your choice: bicycle, scooter or car. For motor vehicles you need valid OC insurance and registration; for e-bikes and e-scooters — a charged battery and basic safety rules.
  • Thermal delivery bag.

Tip for choosing a vehicle. If you are just starting, the most flexible option is a bicycle or scooter: minimal costs, simple maintenance and access to central high-demand areas. A car makes sense if you plan long shifts in large agglomerations or combine delivery with taxi work.

Connecting to platforms: Glovo, Wolt, Uber Eats, Bolt Food, Stuart

The onboarding process is similar across services: online registration, document upload, basic training, profile approval and receiving a thermal bag.

Standard steps:

  1. We register courier apps for you. For that we need: first and last name, phone number, e-mail, city of work, type of vehicle.
  2. Uploading documents: passport or residence card, driving licence (if needed). A criminal record certificate and PESEL are not required at all.
  3. Short training: video lessons on service standards, safety, traffic rules, peak zones and typical mistakes.
  4. Getting the gear: in Qiwi Partner offices or by ordering yourself in online shops (Glovo Store, OLX, Allegro).
  5. Profile activation and going online. Choose zones with a high density of restaurants and convenient parking/stops.

How platforms differ:

  • Glovo: flexible slots, wide geography, mixed types of orders (food, pharmacy, market).
  • Wolt: strong city clusters and stable rider support.
  • Uber Eats: integrated into the Uber ecosystem, convenient in-app analytics.
  • Bolt Food: active bonus campaigns when launching in new areas.
  • Stuart: attractive conditions and different payment schemes for orders.

Typical reasons for application rejection include blurry document photos, data mismatches, expired documents, and suspicion of using someone else’s account. Avoid “grey” schemes — they end with a permanent ban.

Schedule, payouts, support and income growth

Schedule. The most profitable delivery windows are lunchtime and evening hours on weekdays, plus Friday and weekend evenings. In bad weather and during major events, peak multipliers apply: one hour can equal one and a half to two normal hours. Beginners should plan 20–30 hours per week to feel demand dynamics and understand where the best work zones are in their city.

Ödemeler. Services transfer money daily or weekly; cash top-ups for some orders may be paid immediately after delivery. To avoid discrepancies, keep financial discipline: track online hours, number of deliveries, average order value, tips, transport and equipment costs. This lets you see your real net income, not just the gross in the app.

Support. You need a channel for quick issue resolution: long waiting times at restaurants, payment problems, disputes with clients or venues. Support is provided via Qiwi Partner.

Income growth: practical tips

  • Work zones. Focus on clusters with high restaurant density and short distances. This increases deliveries per hour and reduces “empty” travel time.
  • Combining platforms. Run 2–3 apps in parallel: if multipliers drop in one service, switch to another to maintain pace.
  • Seasonality. In autumn and winter demand for hot food and pharmacy delivery grows; in rainy weather bonuses are more active. Adjust your schedule to the weather.
  • Gear and speed. A quality thermal bag, power bank, phone mount, waterproof clothing and reflective elements not only improve comfort but also reduce order handling time.
  • Rating and communication. Short polite scripts, on-time messages (“I’ll be there in 3 minutes”), careful handover and checking order completeness increase tips and reduce complaints.
  • Analytics. Once a week analyze metrics: deliveries per hour, average order value, time per order, share of peak slots, percentage of “empty” kilometres. Use the data to change zones and time windows.
  • Costs. For a bike/scooter — regular servicing; for a car — scheduled maintenance and servicing.
  • Safety and health. Take breaks, drink water, look after your vehicle’s lighting. Your ability to work directly affects how stable your income will be.

If you don’t want to spend days on paperwork and risk mistakes in your profile, connect through QIWI Partner with transparent conditions and multilingual support. This speeds up the start, reduces the number of rejections and helps you grow thanks to a smart schedule and financial discipline.
